Iodoflex Pads are designed withĀ sterile antimicrobial dressingĀ formulations made of Cadexomer Iodine. They effectively absorb fluids, removing exudate, pus and debris and forming a gel over the wound surface.
Bactericidal against 103 isolates of MRSA and 101 strains of P. aeruginosa (in vitro)
ā¢ Provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity up to 72 hours
ā¢ Removes exudate and debris leading to effective wound bed preparation/desloughing
ā¢ Each gram absorbs up to approximately 3ml of fluid
ā¢ Color change from brown to yellow/gray indicates the dressing should be changed
IODOFLEX* Pads can be used in cleaning wet ulcers and wounds such as venous ulcers, pressure ulcers and infected traumatic and surgical wounds.
IODOFLEX* assists in wound area protection and in reducing the microbial load in the wound environment, retards eschar formation and keeps the lesion soft and pliable.
